I believe if custom sens is used on PS5, opening the menu (or occasionally loading into a match) will change the sensitivity from custom to default. also the ADS sensitivity multiplier doesn't affect custom sensitivity, but affects normal sensitivity options as it should.
I’m having the same problem but on Xbox series x my sensitivity switches back to default and the vertical sensitivity goes extremely high while my horizontal sensitivity is super slow
